Srinagar: Senior Pro-Freedom leader and Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah along with Chairman Muslim Conference Shabir Ahmad Dar, Chairman JKLF (R) Javed Ahmad Mir and Chairman Islamic Political Party Muhammad Yusuf Naqash and other Freedom Party activists today expressed his sympathy and condolences with the bereaved family of Parvaiz Ahmad Teili at their residence Kalamdan Pora, Srinagar. It is worth to mention that a 35-year-old Kashmiri businessman Parvaiz Ahmad was killed under mysterious circumstances in Mumbai while travelling from Srinagar to Bangalore. His body while returning back to Srinagar sent shivers down everyone’s spine and evoked Valley wide protests amid strong resentment and anger.Expressing his serious concern over the unabated deaths of Kashmiri businessmen and students residing in various parts of India, Chairman DFP Shabir Shah said unless Kashmiri nation unitedly raises strong protests against these continuing deaths of Kashmiris in India, such killings will continue.Terming the disagreement and disunity among pro-freedom leadership the main reason behind the killings of innocent Kashmiris Shah said unless pro-freedom leadership shows “ideological unity” in resolving the Kashmir dispute and adopt a proper and well organized strategy in taking the freedom movement to its logical end, neither the sacrifices of martyrs can be secured nor will such unfortunate killings of Kashmiris come to an end. The Freedom Party Chairman made it clear that division among leadership gives confidence and encouragement to occupational forces. “They treat Kashmiris as nothing more than cattle.”Shabir Ahmad Shah stressed that we have to prove ourselves as a “united nation”. “We have to demonstrate that the life of each and every Kashmiri is dear to us and we are aware of the value and worth of each Kashmiri,” Shah added.
