SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that if the daughters of the faith follow the life of Hazrat Fatima (RA) then it would be of immense help to alleviate the current social evils plaguing the society. Addressing a gathering at Masjid Dawood, Sheikh Mashkwooti (RA) Safakadal, Mirwaiz threw light on the sacred month of Ramazaan. He said that the month was full of blessings. He said the people should offer salat in this sacred month and beseech Allah for forgiveness and pity.He said that rewards of fasting are many, but in this month they are multiplied. Mirwaiz said that in this month people should help the poor and needful besides contributing in charitable activities. Apart from devoting time for the salat and reciting Quran, Mirwaiz said that if a person does not pay attention to eradicate social ills in the society then they cease to be true human beings before Allah.Meanwhile Hurriyat (M) spokesman has expressed serious concern over the ‘cold blooded murder’ of Parvez Ahmad Teli, a trader from Nawab bazaar, in Mumbai. He said that APHC has time and again raised alarm that Kashmiri students and traders working outside state are not safe. He said before as well Kashmiris traders and students have been murdered under mysterious condition.
