JKLF Organizes a candle lit protest March and Sit in at Lal Chowk against Bandipora killings. JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik still under house arrest

SRINAGAR: A Candle lit protest rally and sit in organized by JKLF was today held against the continued oppression in Kashmir and the brutal killings of Shaheed Irfan Nabi and Shaheed Tariq Ahmad by Indian army in Bandipora district . The rally was scheduled to be led by Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik but due to his continues house arrest was led by senior JKLF leader and party general secretary engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidhi. Prominent among those who participated in the protest rally included Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Mir Mohammad Zaman,Sheikh Abdul Rashid ,Doctor Basharat shirazi, Mohammad jamal and others . JKLF H leader Javed Ahmad Mir, senior lawyer Mohammad Amin Malla ,Zahoor Ahmad Mir and people from all walks of life including women also took part in the rally. The rally started from JKLF headquarters and the participants holding torches, photographs of martyrs, playcards and banners marched towards Madina Chowk .At Madina Chowk the participants of the rally staged a protest sit in that was addressed by various JKLF leaders. While addressing the rally JKLF leaders said that today we kashmiris mourn the Separation of two of our beloved ones who were snatched by the brutal Indian army from us. Our protest and rally stands as a symbol of our protest and resistance against the brutal use of state terrorism by India. Speakers said that the blood of kashmiri’s has been turned so cheap and valueless that any Indian soldier can kill kashmiri’s at will without any fear of persecution or being brought to justice . This sadist approach and Addiction of killing humans is also Prompted by the black laws that are passed by Indian parliament and Jammu Kashmir assembly. In fact this killing addiction is a direct consequence of these black laws and one can with out any fear of being refuted say that these assembly and parliament members and pro- India politicians are directly involved in these innocent killings. Speakers said that on one hand our innocents are killed in cold blood and as soon as it happens, these politicians with their crocodile tears come out with statements and army comes out with its self contradictory stance. This all is done under a well thought plan and that is to decrease the level of anger among people and also to confuse the situation so that the killers are shielded. Speakers said that these claims of probe and other eyewash measures stand exposed before people of Kashmir and the world and killers and their helpers must remember that they will have to answer for their crimes in this world and hereafter. Speakers also condemned the continued house arrest of JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik who remains under house arrest from last three days , speakers said that on one hand these pro India politicians claim that freedom camp has no public support but on the other hand they are worried about them so much that they cannot let them free even for attending funeral prayers of the martyrs. On the occasion the participants of the rally raised slogans in favor of Azadi, martyrs and leaders and also against Indian occupation, oppression and killings. Meanwhile JKLF leader advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat today visited Tral and participated in the funeral prayers of martyred resistance leader Shabir Ahmad Bhat in Hayen Tral. On the occasion Bhat Sahib while paying rich tributes to the martyr’s Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Shah Nawaz Ahmad Mir and Ajaz Ahmad said that it is the sacred bold of these martyrs which is keeping the flame of kashmiri resistance high and shining. Bhat sahib said that these martyrs are our pride and we express our gratitude towards them. Bhat sahib also expressed heart felt condolences to the bereaved families of these martyrs.
